Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

This policy explains what happens to information you give ReinstateMate, available at reinstatemate.com.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Oliver David Paul Claridge, a sole trader registered in the United Kingdom, of Business address available on request — postal address being finalised., is the data controller.

2. The short version

  • We have no accounts and no login, and we do not keep a database of your answers.
  • Your answers stay in your own browser while you use the tool.
  • To generate your appeal, your answers are sent to an AI provider that processes them and returns the text. They are not used to train that provider's models.
  • Your email address is collected by our payment provider so we can send your receipt and ask about your outcome.
  • Nothing you tell us is ever sent to Amazon by us. Only the finished appeal leaves the tool, and you are the one who submits it.

3. What we collect

Information you type into the tool

The answers you give in the appeal wizard, which may include: your suspension type, the wording of Amazon's notification, your product name or ASIN, your supplier's details, invoice text you paste in, your description of how you sourced your stock, and the corrective actions you have taken.

Some of this is commercially sensitive. It is not personal data in most cases, but it can contain personal data — for example a supplier contact name, or your own name and business address on an invoice.

Your email address and payment information

Collected by Stripe, our payment provider, when you pay. We never see or store your full card details. Stripe provides us with your email address and confirmation that payment succeeded.

Basic technical data

Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.

4. What we do not collect

  • We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not store passwords.
  • We do not accept file uploads in the current version of the Service.
  • We do not access, connect to, or receive any data from your Amazon Seller Central account.
  • We do not sell, rent or share your data with advertisers.

5. Where your answers are held while you use the tool

Your answers are stored in your browser's sessionStorage while you complete the wizard. That is local to your device. It is cleared when you close the tab, and it is not a database we can read.

  • Your wizard answers: not retained by us after your session. They exist in your browser and in transit to generate your appeal.

  • Any reply you send us about your outcome: kept while it is useful for improving the Service, and deleted on request.
  • Server logs: kept for a short period by our hosting provider for security purposes.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

We use sessionStorage to hold your answers while you complete the wizard. This is strictly necessary for the Service to function and does not track you.

Our payment provider sets cookies necessary to process your payment securely.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

11. Security

Payment is handled entirely by Stripe and card details never reach our systems. Traffic to and from the site is encrypted. Because we do not maintain a database of your answers, there is no stored record of your case for an attacker to obtain.
